Heading to the Jumbo floating restaurant in Aberdeen, on the Southside of Hong Kong island for a seafood dinner always included a moment of perfectly framed, almost theatrical, anticipation as seen in the Jumbo Gateway. The trip then required a dart across the busy waterway all along dodging fishing boats and marine traffic along the way.
The anticipation of that sampan ride to the Jumbo, and the ride itself, were perhaps more memorable to many than the meal you were about to enjoy: to experience it was to understand it.

ChromaLuxe printing is a process that uses dye sublimation to fuse images onto metal or wood (we are using aluminium) panels. The process involves printing an image onto sublimation paper, then transferring it to the metal using heat. The white ChromaLuxe panels soak up the ink during sublimation, producing vibrant colours. The image is infused into the aluminium, rather than just onto it, which makes the print more scratch-resistant and easier to clean. For more information go HERE
